The Roman Fort Homestead in Northumberland .
Wow can't believe what beautiful weather we are enjoying at the moment, after all it is only April. It's been gorgeous to feel the sun upon my face how I have longed for that feeling these last past freezing months.Double wow because the kids are on Easter holidays as is the hubby,so we've been doing quite a bit of exploring this last week which has been really great .
We decided to buy an English Heritage membership card, this year so we have made full use of it....Roman Fort's &  Old,old Castles to explore ,the kids have had a ball and it's been pretty good for me too!!
The week's not over yet ,what else can we explore???...We are lucky that in our small part of the world it is rich in history,so who knows where we can transport our children's imagination too :)
