~ First make of 2012 ~

My cute free gift from Mollie makes ,a lovely little needlecase x

I made this today,I'm going to put it in a frame in my kitchen,
I now know why I never throw even the tinyiest bits of spare material away.
I machine and hand stitched it ,I liked the way it turned out,I think I will make some matching pictures
what do you think??

What a lovely piece of work, you are very clever. I am going to get mum to teach me how to do those different stitches on the sewing machine when she visits next. I have only taught myself one stitch so far. I got my first "Mollie Makes" magazine this month, the needle case was so cute.

I love the colours and fabrics you've used, and I particularly like the way the rooftops and the way they overlap.

Manda this is just lovely.

You are a real inspiration! My mum has just pursuaded me to buy a little Brother sewing machine and help her make some cushions.

Oh my goodness I am HOPELESS!! Think I need to stick to my baking :-)
