I know,I know Ive had a Lot of make overs on here of late,but  I just wasn't happy with how my blog looked.... until now ....I  get bored very easily.... and I'm just this way in my home,always changing and tweeking things......So a big sorry ,If I keep confusing you all.

I have shared mother's day with my little girl who's 8 today
It's been a very busy day, lovely visits from family,lots of cards ,presents,fun and laughter
I  feel like one lucky mamma

~ Painting part 2 ~

More Painting today.....
This time I decided to use a larger canvas, I also covered the canvas in a collage of paper and
torn images from magazines,and then began to layer paint and fabric till I was happy with the
effects
I wanted to achieve a vibrant picture with lots of detail and not forgetting some sparkle

I ve loved doing them .

~ Painting Love ~

I haven't painted or drawn for such a long while,......but today I changed that.
It always seems to relax me,I think you kinda get lost in what your doing.
I did a little bit of mixed media creating ,I haven't totally finished her yet ,but I thought I'd show you anyway.

I intend to do a bit of machine sewing, to add a little bit more interest, and then she should be finished.
Ive just finished decorating my daughter's bedroom,so Lady Love will be joining them in there lovely new room,  I might even make her some  friends ???

~ Busy Days ~

Aren't daffodils  such a cheery happy flower

What a busy day,,I seem to have been running around to much lately,I'm quite used to it being hectic round here ,what else could you expect with four kids ,but I seem to be bogged down with school letters and requests for money for school trips,amongst other things.
I found myself looking at the calender,counting down to the next school holiday.
I don't usually say how I'm feeling on my blog,as this is my happy place where everything is rosey and nice and fun ,but well today I'm making an exception

Ive decided I need warm breezes,windows open,long walks in the countryside instead...... icy winds ,windows tightly shut and a quick run round the park is just not cutting it for me .How do you feel ? ( northern hemisphere )are we ready for them warm sunny days? I know I am,well with spring round the corner I suppose I havn't got long to wait,I think the sunshine instantly makes you feel better ......so one little moan over with,I have verrry much to be thankful for I know but heyy I'm only human  ......

Don't you just love shopping ??

A lovely shop called Alfie loves Ava
beautiful children's wear,stockists of joules and poppy wear and pretty
party wear :cupcake wrappers,cake stands bunting to name but a few ,just a shop full of gorgeousness!!

Can't begin to tell you how lovely this shop smells ,they sell every spice under the sun
,and not forgetting my favourite Lindersfarn Mead ...hic

This shop is called Honeyze and they sell beautiful handmade soaps ,bath bombs etc
they smell out of this world !!

And you can't be by the seaside without rock !!

I was lucky enough to visit one of my favourite places at the weekend ,and do a spot of shopping  in all my favourite spots and shops........WHITBY NORTH YORKSHIRE, I never get bored of the place and to tell you the truth as long as the kids get an ice cream they're happy too.

This is my newest make.

Ive used a mix of cath Kidston ,Tilda  and fabric from my stash,I needed to brighten up my coat So I deceided to make this flower Brooch,It's the first time Ive made a brooch, I'm definitely going to make more. I feel the sun is on It's way when I wear my sunny flower.
